Meet Onyka

Hi, I’m Onyka Lopez!

I’m a 22-year-old photographer based in Janesville, Minnesota, with a love for capturing people’s energy and essence. My style is a mix of earthy, nostalgic, and cinematic – think warm greens, deep browns, and soft ivory tones. I aim for my photos to feel natural & timeless, with an emphasis on genuine moments over stiff poses. Instead of rigid instructions, I’ll guide you with prompts that hopefully make you feel comfortable, so you can truly be yourself in front of the camera.

Outside of photography, I’m an artsy soul. I love music (big dad rock fan), drawing, painting, crocheting, sewing, and anything creative. I also read tarot, watch way too many movies, and have a soft spot for all things paranormal—if you ever want a cemetery or ghost-inspired shoot, I’m so down. Speaking of things I love, I’m a cat mom to two girls, Butters & Pacino, but I’ll never say no to a dog at a session (bring your pets!!).
